Motor insurance related new customer complaints in the UK 2009/10-2021/22
The number of motor insurance complaints made to the Financial Ombudsman in the United Kingdom fell by 2,000 between FY 2020/21 and FY 2021/22. In FY 2021/22, 11,403 complaints were filed, down from 13,614 in the previous year. The lowest number of complaints recorded over the past 12 years were found in FY 2009/10, when less than 5,500 complaints were recorded.
