Leading reasons against Valentine's Day among U.S. consumers 2022
In 2022, more than half of U.S. consumers, who were not likely to celebrate Valentine's Day, specified that it felt too much like a commercial event, making it the leading reason why people in the United States avoid the occasion. Just under 10 percent of those surveyed also felt that it was too old-fashioned.
