By the end of 2023, the most watched streaming original series in Hindi across India was 'Farzi' produced by Amazon Prime Video with a viewership of over 37 million. It was the most watched Hindi subscription video-on-demand show of all time and the only show to cross the 30 million mark that year. The next most watched series during that period was the Disney+ Hotstar original, 'The Night Manager'.
