Annual global mobile app consumer spending 2022-2027, by store

In 2027, consumers are projected to spend 125 billion U.S. dollars on mobile apps from the Apple App Store. Combined user spending in the App Store and Google Play is set to reach almost 186 billion U.S. dollars by 2027. This would represent an increase of over 50 percent compared to the total consumer spending registered in 2022 across the two major app distributors. The estimated app spending for the years between 2023 and 2024 have decreased considerably from past projections, as the digital market experiences a slowing growth trend.
