As of March 2024, streaming was the favorite platform for television and video users in the United States, reaching over 38 percent of the overall viewing time. After a decline in the share of streaming usage during the second half of 2023, with sports programming and the news having a main impact on the growth in broadcast viewing, streaming consumption has increased again since the beginning of 2024.
