As of 2022, Swedish people spent 17 percent of their daily media usage time on watching traditional television. The share generally decreased in recent years. In 2011 for example, Swedes spent 26 percent of their media consumption time on traditional TV.

The statistic is based on a survey conducted via telephone and web interview.

Figures for 2009 to 2021 were taken from previous publications.
