Consumers buying meals online in the Netherlands 2020-2023, by age
In 2023, Dutch shoppers between the ages of 25 to 35 ordered the most meals via the Internet. That year, nearly 70 percent of consumers in the age bracket purchased meals online. Overall, there was a decrease in meal ordering across all age groups compared to the previous year. As people began dining out once more following COVID-19, the need for online meals decreased.
