Commercials watched on YouTube led 33 percent of the surveyed children to ask their parents to buy a product in the United States, according to the study conducted in the second quarter of 2023. YouTube ads had the highest influence on purchase behavior among the selected channels. In comparison, 12 percent of the kids mentioned having seen on broadcast TV ads for the last thing they asked their parents to buy.
