Top ways to engage with brands on social media according to U.S. consumers 2022
During a February 2022 survey conducted among consumers in the United States, more than 40 percent of the respondents said they followed a brand on their social media pages in exchange for an incentive, such as a discount code, gift card, free item, or chance to win sweepstakes. Around one-quarter of U.S. consumers commented on a brand's social media posts in return for an incentive. On the other hand, 39 percent of respondents mentioned they have not engaged with a brand on social media in exchange for incentives.
