Types of CPG marketing spend impacting consumers in the U.S. the most 2022
In 2022, trade promotion appeared as the most influential type of marketing spending in the consumer packaged goods industry in the United States. According to the survey conducted among CPG manufacturers, retailers, and shoppers, 55 percent of respondents considered the marketing strategy very or extremely influential. Consumer promotion and shopper marketing came next, mentioned by 52 and 43 percent of respondents as influential.
