UK: teenage Instagram users 2023, by gender
In June 2023, there were over 1.5 million users of Meta's Instagram in the United Kingdom aged between 13 and 17 years. Of these users, over 894 thousand were female, accounting for roughly 59 percent of the social media platform's user base for this age group. Additionally, users age 13 to 17 years made up four percent of Instagram's user base in the UK.
