Goods purchased by Russians in advance due to economic crisis 2022
Three quarters of Russians stockpiled food products due to the economic downfall after the invasion of Ukraine, according to a survey conducted from March 16 to March 18, 2022. Furthermore, nearly one half of respondents purchased medications in advance. During the week from March 19 to March 25, 2022, consumer prices in Russia soared by almost nine percent year-to-date.
