In a survey about attitudes toward plant-based foods conducted in Australia between December 2021 and March 2022, around 35.5 percent of respondents indicated that they had changed their meat consumption habits. Just over 32.2 percent of respondents reported decreasing their meat consumption in the 12 months prior to the survey, with only around three percent indicating they had consumed more meat.
