A survey conducted in March 2022 among Australian consumers revealed that over 70 percent of respondents who had tried plant-based meat and buy it regularly purchased meat alternatives at the supermarket. Over one third of those surveyed reported purchasing plant-based meat products from fast-food/takeaway restaurants.
