This statistic illustrates the distribution of the online purchases of Italian clothing shoppers via both Italian and foreign websites in the year 2016, broken down by gender. As of the survey period, half of the Italian web shoppers (50 percent) bought mainly women fashion related products on the websites of Italian and foreign web retailers, while 40 percent of the online apparel purchases were of men clothing articles.
