The statistic displays the distribution of social enterprises in the Netherlands in 2017, by sector. The survey results show that in 2017, the main area of impact that companies surveyed focused their social enterprise goals on were green and socio-economic sectors. Approximately 45 percent of companies included in the survey focused on 'green' issues such as climate change, clean energy and waste management, while the share of companies who directed their efforts towards the improvement of education and promotion of culture was lowest, at just four percent.
