Installed and targeted renewable capacity in Chile 2022-2030, by source
In 2022, Chile had a total renewable capacity of 17 gigawatts. By 2030, the Latin American country plans to increase this figure to roughly 38 gigawatts, more than doubling the operational capacity in 2022. Wind is expected to be the leading renewable energy source by that year, reaching an installed capacity of at least 15 gigawatts in 2030.
