Survey participants were asked whether they would reduce their consumption of soft drinks if the price increased by 20 percent. Close to 60 percent of respondents indicated that their consumption habits would not change in response to a price increase, while 34 percent of respondents thought they would drink less soft drinks if they became more expensive.
