As the Royal Family embarks on a 10-year renovation of Buckingham Palace, the monarchy is still hugely profitable. According to the latest figures, the Crown Estate raked in a whopping £328.8 million in 2016-17, an 8.1 percent increase on 2016 and a historic high.
