40% Of Americans Prefer Socialism Over Capitalism

In what might be considered good news for democratic socialist politicians like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a new survey carried out by the Harris Poll for Axios has found that U.S. support for socialism is growing. 4 in 10 Americans said they would prefer living in a socialist country over a capitalist one.The research also found that 55 percent of women aged 18 to 54 would prefer to live in a socialist country, though a majority of men said they would prefer to live in a capitalist one.
