Hotels Are the Most Popular Accommodation Type in European Countries

Travelers in Europe prefer hotels to other types of accommodation when they are looking for a place to stay. This is especially the case in Spain, as more than half of Spanish travelers stayed at a hotel on their last trip in 2021. Short-term rental is the second-most popular accommodation type, particularly in France, as a quarter of French tourists stayed at such accommodation on their last trip in 2021.
