Most Europeans Support Managing Tourism Flows

Across Europe, there appears to be a reasonable level of support for regulating the flow of tourism to popular destinations. Germany and France showed the highest levels of support, with 62% of respondents in each country expressing approval in a survey conducted by YouGov. In contrast, the greatest opposition to limiting tourist flows was found in Sweden and Great Britain, where 37% and 40% of respondents, respectively, were opposed. Nevertheless, half of the respondents in both countries were still in favor of such measures.
