London has by far the highest STI rate in England

There were close to half a million new STI cases in England in 2014. When looking at these cases by region, London had by a large margin the greatest amount per 1,000 people. At nearly 14, this was 6 more than the next most affected region, the North West and 8 more than the South East, which came in at the bottom of the ranking.
