US Elections

The Economy is Still Top of the Agenda With US Voters

During his first presidential campaign 1992 Bill Clinton coined the phrase "It’s the economy, stupid!". What held true then, still hits a nerve with voters today. The economy is the prime topic moving America. A little more surprisingly, according to a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center in September, health care is second highest on the agenda. Probably this is because the so-called Obamacare program is one of the more contentious issues in US politics today. Of course, terrorism still makes the list and comes in at third place.
