French households' consumption of organic products has been continuously increasing since 1999 and until 2020. In both 2021 and 2022 sales have been decreasing slightly.
It has more than doubled in five years, with a growth of more than 1.3 billion euros each year since 2016. This shows the growing interest of the French population towards organic foods.
