This statistic shows the share of elderly and younger people reading news within the last week in Norway in 2017, by source. During this year, 81 percent of respondents at age 60 years and older used printed newspapers as their primary news source in the preceding week. In contrast, more than 70 percent of respondents at age 18 to 59 years read the news via the computer or mobile phone. For both age groups, tablets were the least used device for reading news.
