Organ transplants in the Dominican Republic 2010-2022
In 2022, the number of organ transplants, including kidney, heart, lung, liver, pancreas, and small bowel, performed in the Dominican Republic added up to 62 interventions, up from 46 transplants reported a year earlier. The highest number of organ transplants registered in the Caribbean country amounted to 91 procedures in 2019, roughly three times more than the number of transplants completed in 2020.
