China: change of hygiene behaviors in coronavirus epidemic 2020

The coronavirus COVID-19 epidemic in China has significantly changed the public hygiene practices. According to a survey released in February 2020, around 63 percent of the respondents started to wash their hands more frequently, compared with less than one-third of the respondents had done the same when the outbreak began.
