Attitudes to changing the portrayal of police TV shows in the U.S. 2020
A survey examining the portrayal of police officers on television in the United States found that 56 percent of Americans think TV shows should change to better represent the criminal justice system. There was also support from 56 percent of respondent for shows to change in order to more accurately reflect policing in the United States, whereas only 45 percent of respondents felt that shows already accurately reflect the current system.
