Share of e-commerce users before and during COVID-19 in China 2020, by age group
McKinsey, during the COVID-19 crisis, people aged 31 to 35 years became the largest in e-commerce user share in China among all age groups, amounting to 21 percent. Before the crisis, those aged 25 to 30 years had the largest share of e-commerce users. The main share of e-commerce users shifted from those aged between 19 and 30 years to those older than 30 years old, and those under 18 years old.
