According to a survey on social media influencers conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2023, approximately 50 percent of female and 49 percent of male Malaysian respondents stated that they would pay the same price as a similar product for an influencer collaboration product. The same survey found that the majority of Malaysian respondents had purchased one item or product because it had been endorsed by an influencer.
