The share of people affected by depressive symptoms has increased in France since 2014. Furthermore, the EpiCov survey, conducted in Mai 2020, revealed the Covid-19 pandemic played a role in the degradation of the mental health state among the French population. As a matter of fact, 13.5 percent of respondents affirmed suffering from depressive symptoms during that period. Compared to 2014, this represents a growth of 6.2 points.
