Interest in TV show based on other brands in the U.S. 2023, by age
A survey from 2023 found that the majority of respondents were more interested in a TV show based on a movie than on other catergories, with 72 percent of 16 to-24-year-olds and 64 percent of people over 35 being more likely to watch a TV show based on a movie they liked. All in all, younger consumers were more interested in series based on other brands such as books, characters from existing shows, and video games than their older counterparts.
