According to a survey conducted among U.S. enterprises in China in 2022, 51 percent of companies stated that it was a huge challenge to recruit and retain expatriate talent because qualified candidates were unwilling to move to China. Bilateral tensions and other geopolitical concerns were also significant challenges, with 36 percent of respondents indicating this.
