As of financial year 2023, the Hindi news channel Aaj Tak had the strongest social media presence and engagement among India's leading news channels, accumulating over 44 million actions across its social media profiles. Trailing by a wide margin, the Tamil channel, Sun News, had the second highest social media engagement.
