Men's reason for not using makeup in Japan 2023, by age
Japanese men do not put on makeup because they do not feel the need to do it. According to an October 2023 survey conducted among men who did not have a habit of putting on makeup, 36 percent of respondents stated that they did not feel the need for it, while 33.4 percent considered the routine troublesome.
