This statistic presents the results of a 2012 Nielsen survey among American video game console owners regarding their use of the device. Owners of Microsoft's Xbox 360 spend 33 percent of their console time playing online video games and nine percent of the time watching DVDs. These figures have not changed in comparison to the results of the same survey carried out a year earlier.
