The figures shown are the share of respondents who agreed with the statement and who therefore showed a positive view of nonprofits. Responses are differentiated by the political affiliation of participants. 50 percent of Democrat supporters surveyed said they agreed that nonprofits make it easy for people to be involved in social change, as compared to just 37 percent of Republicans.
