This statistic presents the distribution of income levels in retirement, evaluated in comparison to the pre-retirement income levels, for the United Kingdom as of 2013. Approximately 79 percent of people reported that their income has fallen in retirement. Only eight percent reported income staying on the same level as before retirement.
