In 2022, 32.86 percent of Egypt's total population fell in the age group from 0 to 14 years old. Moreover, the majority of the population were in the working-age bracket between 15 and 64 years old, with roughly 62.31 percent of the total population falling in the age group. However, in the period under review, this age group's share was diminishing, dropping from roughly 62.61 percent in 2011 to 62.17 in 2021.
