Young females by age who received a chlamydia test in past 12 months 2013-2015
This statistic displays the percentage of sexually experienced females between the ages of 15-25, by age, that had been tested for chlamydia in the past 12 months. About 23.5 percent of females aged of 15-17 said that they had been tested for chlamydia in the past 12 months, where as 46.1 percent of females aged 20-22 had been tested for chlamydia in the past 12 months. Chlamydia often has no symptoms, however, testing is recommended as preventative screening for young females that engage in sexual activity.
