Profit and costs of the bank rescue attempts in Europe 2010
The statistic shows the profit and costs* caused by the bank rescue programmes in selected European countries from 2007 to 2010. In this time span, taxpayers in the Netherlands had to pay approximately 3.4 billion euros for bank rescue programmes, while Spain generated a profit of 1.5 billion euros with its bank rescue programme.
