In its fiscal year 2023, L’Occitane recorded its highest results in terms of net sales, generating over two billion euros.

L’Occitane en Provence’s performance
The APAC region is currently the most profitable for the beauty company, having recorded the greatest value of sales. This was also the region with the highest number of L’Occitane stores in 2023, with 635, while the Americas accounted for 364 stores. Sol de Janeiro: a TikTok phenomenon
Inspired by the Brazilian summer, Sol de Janeiro’s skincare and fragrance products recently went viral on several social media platforms, especially TikTok. This caused a remarkable and unexpected growth in the brand’s sales. As of 2023, some of Sol de Janeiro products even figured in a ranking of the best-selling beauty and personal care products on Amazon and the highest-grossing fragrances on the marketplace. The body mists seem to be one of its most successful products, along with body creams such as the Bum Bum Cream. Also in 2023, the brand ranked 10th in a list of leading skincare brands on TikTok based on hashtag views: its social media popularity is confirmed by Gen Z’s preferences regarding fragrance brands.
