Statista Study

The Countries Spending the Most on Beer

No country spends more money on beer than Iceland. A new study by Statista has revealed how much people in selected countries spent on beer last year. In 2018, the average Icelander spent 706.92 USD, a lot more than second-placed Ireland with $537.66. These figures aren't necessarily a reflection of consumption but rather how expensive it can be to drink a pint in different countries. Iceland is known for high prices, as is fourth-placed Australia.
