Vehicle Sales
American Vehicles and Light Trucks for China
Despite the ongoing debate about America’s hefty trade balance deficit with China, the exports of newly manufactured U.S. passenger vehicles and light trucks have picked up a lot in the last 15 years. According to figures provided by the International Trade Administration (ITA), 267,500 such vehicles were shipped to China in the past year compared to roughly 400 units in 2002.
