England vs. Sweden - what the stats say

England are through to the quarter finals of the World Cup and if you spend more than 30 seconds on social media at the moment you'll see that football is most definitely 'coming home'. There is plenty of irony in these posts, but as the Three Lions keep on pushing forward in the tournament - even winning a penalty shootout - the optimism and belief is growing.

The next stop on this journey for Gareth Southgate's team is a trip to Samara to play Sweden. While the Swedes are certainly not the strongest team in the tournament they are guaranteed to cause England problems and even potentially cause an upset.
