On Monday August 20, the 35th MTV Music Awards will take place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. And even though Madonna is known as the Queen of Pop, this title of nobility rather fits to Bey, at least when it comes to the success both artists had with their music videos. With 26 won awards and 8 nominations for this year’s VMAs, she is the true queen of the American music industry plus, like Madonna, she is an empowering idol for millions of women and a great dancer not to mention her outstanding voice.

Next to Madonna and Beyoncé, Lady Gaga takes place three on the list of artists with the forming the holy trinity of the VMAs.
