Presidents In Movies

America's Favorite On-Screen Presidents

On the third Monday of February, the United States marks George Washington's birthday with President's Day, a federal holiday. Instead of looking at America's favorite actual presidents of all time today, it's also interesting to take a glance at the country's all-time favorite on-screen presidents.

YouGov recently conducted a poll to find out where movie and TV-series presidents rank and the results are rather interesting. James Marshall who was played by Harrison Ford in "Air Force One" back in 1997 comes first. He had 23 percent of the vote, ahead of President Beck (Morgan Freeman) in "Deep Impact" and Thomas Whitmore (Bill Pullman) in "Independence Day".
