Britons are indifferent about Northern Ireland leaving the UK

A new poll from Ipsos MORI has found that the British public are indifferent about Northern Ireland leaving the United Kingdom. The survey was conducted online in February with 1,084 adults and it found that while 36 percent want Northern Ireland to remain part of the UK if it holds a referendum on its future, 36 percent also said they don't mind either way. Interestingly, 19 percent of those polled stated that they would prefer it left and joined with the Republic of Ireland.
