How The UK's EU Parliament Seats Will Be Distributed

Despite the United Kingdom no longer being a member of the European Union, negotiations between London and Brussels are far from over and a plethora of questions remain to be answered. One key point of uncertainty has been the fate of the UK's 73 seats in the European Parliament. According to data published by Bloomberg, 27 of the UK's seats will be split between 14 Member States while the remaining 46 will be placed in reserve for nations aspiring to join the EU. As a result of Brexit, the European Parliament is now six percent smaller.
